"My experiences at Advance Orthopedic have been excellent. This was my second time doing physical therapy with Mark, and both times were wonderful. This time, I was doing PT for post-rotator cuff and biceps tendon repair surgery. The recovery is extremely painful, so moving the shoulder afterward is the worst. Mark was great at regulating the therapy so as not to do too much or try to go too fast. I went in to one appt. in tears from the pain and he was incredibly understanding and empathetic, only doing cold therapy that day. He was a great cheerleader for me and my progress throughout my PT (3 months, 2x per week). The entire office is cheerful, especially Chelsea at the front desk. Overall, a great place to go for therapy where they are experienced, knowledgeable, empathetic and friendly. A+"

"Arrived at Advance Ortho after an ACL & MCL reconstruction surgery, so pretty broken. Entire staff is amazing, thoughtful, kind, and kept my recovery on track. I never felt uncomfortable going there as a fat woman, which I think many bigger people are afraid of when seeking out PT professionals. I felt safe & looked after while in their care. Mark & Mitch are wonderful, Chelsea seemingly remembers everyone & everything which is great, and Jen is my absolute favorite PT person (I will miss her but plan to stop in for visits when appropriate). Location is good; right off 495, office is on the first floor and is obviously handicap accessible, parking lot has plenty of handicap parking & regular parking (but the building has multiple businesses so the parking lot can get busy). "I went to Advance due to a shoulder problem. What I expected was to be told to do some exercises and to come back in two weeks. I was wrong. Mitch explained what I damaged in my shoulder and what was needed to help correct it. He worked his magic with stretching and massaging the shoulder. "I recently used Advanced Orthopedic and Sports Therapy for PT after total knee replacement surgery. I can't say enough good things about them. Everyone i dealt with was friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. But my therapist Matt was even better: he was exceptional. He always sensed just what I needed that day, be it a deep massage of the area, a deep stretching of the knee, or just plain strengthening exercises. I had heard horror stories about the recovery from knee replacement and with Matt's guidance, It was very tolerable. I am planning a 2nd knee replacement in the fall and I will certainly go back and specifically request Matt. Within 7 weeks I was riding a bicycle and after 8 weeks i was back on the golf course. "No matter if you are 18 or 80, Advanced Orthopedic & Sports Therapy is the Best PT Rehab Facility in the Merrimack Valley and Beyond. I unfortunately, had a severe right knee injury to my ACL, MCL & Meniscus that required a major surgery. Thanks to a top surgeon, I was on the road to recovery which was a long one, but the months of post surgery work were successful because I was working with the Best Therapists possible. Heather Jones was my therapist and I owe my Complete Recovery to her extensive knowledge, expertise and aggressive work that took me through each stage of my recovery. They have helped me recover from minor to major soccer related injuries. Over the past few years they helped me recover from a broken ankle which required a plate and 10 screws to be put in. The recovery time for an injury like this is 9-12 months. With the help of Mark and Mitch, I was able to make a full recovery in 6 months. Without their support, guidance and knowledge I would have never made this type of recovery. Most recently, my 12 year old son had a avulsion fracture on his hip where is quad attaches. "I had extensive shoulder and bicep surgery in October and started with Mitch in November. On my first return visit with my surgeon after starting PT he was very happy with the progress and said I was coming along better than anticipated. Every appointment after was the same and my shoulder is feeling better every day. I have about 95% of the motion back and the exercises Mitch gave me have me well on my way to 100%. Mitch was great from the beginning and changed his routine to accommodate my schedule. Twice a week at 6:30 AM! I will miss our talks about the world most as he worked my shoulder back to health. "Advanced Physcial Therapy is hands down the best physical therapy clinic that I've ever been to. I've gone to 4 different clinics since 2010 to recover from multiple surgeries that stem from a genetic condition, and this is the only place I have continued to return to time and time again. The staff are absolutely incredible. They have a wealth of knowledge between them and they take the time to explain your injury or condition, as well as what each exercise and treatment does and how it will benefit you. It's easy to see that the aides and the therapists genuinely care about every patient that comes through their doors.
